Cultivate Her is a new leadership environment focused on encouraging and developing women leaders. Right now, it meets monthly at Cross Point Church in Nashville, Tennessee.

This recap of one of the first meetings includes a promotional video, as well as video of a discussion on women as “Bullies.”

I think this is an incredible idea. Most churches have some women in leadership positions (women’s ministry, children’s ministry, etc.), even if they don’t support women in church leadership. Including women from the congregation who may be leaders in their career field is a great way to share and apply learnings, and encourage each other. And, it provides a place where young women can learn from the experience and wisdom of older women.

Maybe it’s time for a “Cultivate Her” Network…
